VMA 2025 tem liderança de Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter em alta e Anitta fora da disputa

O Deadline divulgou (e já apagou!), nesta terça-feira (5), a lista completa de indicados ao VMA 2025: Lady Gaga lidera com 12 indicações, marcando o terceiro ano consecutivo como a artista mais nomeada da premiação. Bruno Mars vem logo atrás com 11, seguido por Kendrick Lamar, com 10.

Rosé e Sabrina Carpenter aparecem empatadas com 8 indicações cada, enquanto Ariana Grande e The Weeknd somam 7. Billie Eilish (6) e Charli XCX (5) também estão entre os destaques. Bad Bunny, Doechii, Ed Sheeran, Jelly Roll, Miley Cyrus e Tate McRae concorrem em quatro categorias.

A categoria de Vídeo do Ano segue como a mais aguardada pelo público e o foco principal da premiação — não apenas por reunir os maiores nomes do momento, mas por consagrar o clipe que melhor marcou o ano na cultura pop. É nela que os fãs mais votam, mais torcem e mais se envolvem, confira os indicados:

Apesar de ter vencido o VMA em anos anteriores, Anitta ficou de fora da lista de indicados na categoria Best Latin em 2025. A cantora levou o prêmio três vezes seguidas: em 2022 com “Envolver”, em 2023 com “Funk Rave” e em 2024 com “Mil Veces”, e se tornou a primeira brasileira a vencer na premiação. A ausência este ano chama atenção, especialmente após sua sequência de conquistas históricas no evento.

A cerimônia acontece em 7 de setembro, na UBS Arena, em Nova York, com transmissão ao vivo pela CBS, MTV e streaming no Paramount+ e duas novas categorias estreiam este ano: Melhor Artista Pop e Melhor Artista Country.
