Nesta quinta-feira (28), a lista dos indicados para o American Music Awards foi divulgada. As primeiras categorias foram anunciadas durante o programa “Good Morning America”, da TV americana e, posteriormente, a lista completa foi divulgada pelas redes sociais da premiação.

Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, BTS, Drake, Olivia Rodrigo e The Weeknd foram indicados à Artista do Ano, principal categoria da cerimônia. Em Artista Revelação, a disputa está entre The Kid LAROI, Giveon, 24KGoldn, Masked Wolf e Oliva Rodrigo.

Olivia Rodrigo lidera a lista com 7 indicações na edição de 2021 do American Music Awards, que acontece em 21 de novembro. A premiação tradicionalmente proporciona grandes momentos e apresentações. No entanto, os artistas que irão performar ainda não foram divulgados.
