The Weeknd lidera indicações ao Billboard Music Awards 2021; confira a lista completa

A lista de indicados ao Billboard Music Awards 2021 foi anunciada na tarde desta quinta-feira (29). Em 16 categorias, The Weeknd é o grande destaque da premiação musical.

A partir de uma curadoria feita pelo portal e o MRC Data, empresa de monitoria de dados, a seleção foi feita com base nas principais interações dos fãs com as músicas, incluindo vendas de álbuns e canções digitais, streaming, execução (airplay) de rádio e engajamento social.

A apresentação acontece em transmissão no canal oficial da premiação no Youtube. Zuri Hall e LaLa Milan foram as mestres de cerimônia. O evento de divulgação contou com as participações de Anitta, Finneas and Maggie Baird, Jay Pharoah, Jon Batiste, Luis Fonsi, Swizz Beatz e Timbaland, e muitos mais.

Os prêmios deste ano são baseados no período de 21 de março de 2020 até 3 de abril de 2021. As categorias votadas pelos fãs neste ano incluem o melhor artista social e a melhor colaboração. O evento está marcado para 23 de maio.
