Drake, Cher e Celine Dion brilham em noite do Billboard Music Awards
Enquanto Drake levava vários troféus do Billboard Music Awards pra casa, foram as grandes mulheres do pop que roubaram a cena no Billboard Music Awards, que rolou na noite deste domingo (21) em Las Vegas!
O rapper ficou com 13 prêmios, incluindo melhor artista, melhor artista masculino, melhor artista de rap e melhor turnê de rap. Com isso, ele se torna o artista que mais ganhou prêmios no BBMA’s em uma única noite – até hoje, essa pessoa era a Adele, que já ganhou 12 numa única noite.
Nicki Minaj foi a responsável por abrir a noite. A rapper escolheu um medley dos seus singles mais recentes, incluindo “Swalla”, com participação do Jason Derulo. Depois da rainha do rap, Camila Cabello fez sua primeira apresentação ao vivo cantando “Crying in the Club” – e não decepcionou!

Também teve Ed Sheeran cantando direto do Chile, Miley chorando ao cantar “Malibu” e, finalmente, o show da melhor música do ano até agora. Lorde arrebentou com “Greenlight” no maior clima de karaokê, quase que criando um novo clipe para o seu single!
“Green Light” é o carro-chefe do álbum “Melodrama”, marcado para lançar no dia 16 de junho. Ela também já lançou a faixa “Liability”
Mas talvez o momento mais emocionante desse BBMA’s ficou com a Celine Dion, que celebrou os 20 anos de “Titanic” com uma apresentação esplendorosa de “My Heart Will Go On” – com direito a um lustra gigantescamente lindo!

Ué, o mais premiado não se apresentou? Mas é claro que sim! Mas não foi do palco, não. Drake tinha seu próprio palco, no meio da Fonte do Bellagio, com muita água e muito fogo em volta!
Os meninos do BTS levam o prêmio de “Top Social Artist”, se tornando o primeiro grupo de k-pop a ganhar um Billboard Music Award! <3 E a Halsey também subiu ao palco: ela fez uma apresentação de “Now or Never” visualmente impecável!
Fechando a noite, Cher, a deusa do pop, levou o Icon Award pelo conjunto de sua carreira. E, claro, colocou o corpão pra jogo com “Belive”, o megahit de sua carreira, e “If I Could Turn Back Time”. Isso sim são hinos, mores!
